Martial Arts Vallejo

Vallejo and other surrounding Northern Californa cities and counties have a large number of martial arts schools. Some are Mom and Pop Martial Arts Schools, and some are more aligned with the belt factories that push a certain amount violence and brutality or teach a fixed curriculum no matter the student’s experience. Other schools are striving to do the right thing and teach kids, teens and adults not only how to defend themselves and their families and friends, but also to be good citizen Warriors that think about the good of their communities.

One school that I think teaches children, teenagers, and adults in a positive way is the Modern Warrior Arts Academy in the ex Navy Town of Vallejo. The Modern Warrior Arts Academy primarily teaches Seibukan Jujutsu as it’s foundation Martial Art. Seibukan Jujutsu is modeled on the ancient military Japanese Warrior Martial Art also known as JuJitsu, Jiu Jitsu, Ju Jitsu or Ju-Jitsu. The spelling is different but the art more less the same.

JuJutsu (JuJitsu, Jiu Jitsu, Ju Jitsu or Ju-Jitsu) methods of combat include striking (kicking and punching), throwing (body throws, joint-lock throws, unbalance throws), restraining (pinning, strangling, grappling, wrestling) and weaponry.

Jujutsu Defensive tactics included blocking, evading, off-balancing, blending and escaping.
